A Curriculum, Shared

A curriculum meeting holds at the start of each school year, where parents are intimated with the academic plans and procedures ahead. More than a learning resource, it lets parents better support their children once they understand what the year holds — and the outcomes we expect.

02

Reports & Conferences

Formal reports are sent home at the end of the first half of term one, and at the end of every term thereafter. Parents are warmly encouraged to attend the Parent–Teacher Conference (PTC) once reports go home, to discuss their child's progress together.

03

Homework, Done Right

Homework helps children retain what was taught and extend their learning, and is always matched to their mental and physical capabilities. Teachers, nannies, and parents should never do it for them — instead, provide a conducive space, supervise, and gently nudge where they drift. Work is completed and turned in on its due date.

04

Beyond the Classroom

Not every child is an academic genius — but each has something they enjoy and may excel at. Co-curricular activities give every child the chance to step outside the usual routine, and that joy becomes a vital part of their development.

Our Ethos

Informed by the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

At the core of our ethos

Character

Intelligence plus character — the true goal of education. We nurture integrity, empathy, and a heart that feels for humanity.

Courage

The strength to face the storm. We raise children bold enough to hold their own and take on the world with a zest for life.

Creativity

From dirt, gold; from rocks and stones, precious quartz. We unlock the imagination to create something out of nothing.

Our Vision

A gold standard the world looks up to

  • To make Nigeria the to-go place for gold-standard education.
  • To be one of the schools with the most notable alumni in the world.

Our Mission

Six promises we make to every child

01

To build children who can hold their own — global citizens with a zest for life.

02

To develop the total child: spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially.

03

To empower children to take on the world, with the courage to face the storm.

04

To build creativity that makes gold from dirt, and precious quartz from rocks and stones.

05

To raise eager, happy, life-long learners with intellectual might who, with character, create anything out of nothing.

06

To develop character so that children have a heart that feels for humanity — leaving things better than they met them.
